Banff 2007 Abstract Submission
The Banff Conference
invites authors to submit abstracts for poster
presentation and publication on our website. Authors must submit abstracts via email as an
attachment.
Please note that only electronic submissions will be
accepted. In case you do not have any internet access,
please contact the Conference Coordinator.
Deadline for Abstract Submission:
13 April
2007
Abstracts received after this date
cannot be considered for presentation.
General Policies
- Submitted abstracts must
describe original unpublished work..
- Authors may submit more than
one paper.
- Abstracts must be submitted
in English.
- Upon submission, authors
will receive a confirmation by email. If you
do not receive an email confirmation after
submitting your abstract, please contact the
Conference Coordinator.
- Notifications of acceptance
will be sent to the presenting author in mid-May 2007.
Details of the presentation format will be included in
the notification.
- If the presenting author is
unable to present the abstract, another co-author
may take his/her place.
- All accepted abstracts may
be published on our website.
Abstract Format
- Abstracts should be typed
single-spaced (in English) on one side of an 8½ x 11
inch page, with one inch margins on all sides.

The title and authors should be typed as follows:

- Poster Board Size -
1m width x 2.57 m. height
Maximum Poster size : 0.95 m width x 2.41m height (Portrait orientation)
Posters should be stuck with a double-sided adhesive tape or “Velcro” pads .
Please bring your own velro tape.
Abstract Content
Make the abstract as informative as
possible. Conclusions must be supported by data.
Organize the body of the abstract as follows: (a)
objectives, (b) methods, (c) results, (d) conclusions.
Use standard abbreviations and generic drug names. Place
unusual abbreviations or acronyms in parentheses after
first use.
