Background Information

There is no required reading for Osmar Ziane's two teaching sessions on Artificial Intelligence this Wednesday and Thursday nights September 28th and 29th.  However on those nights you will be meeting Boris, my Sony Aibo robotic dog.  Here are some links to video blogs with him in action:

This interview with Michael Anissimov seems like good background reading for the AI sessions of the course.  I recommend that students at least read about the concept of the "singleton" about a fifth of the way down the article and the end section where recommendations for current action are given:
